- We bought this camera to add to our home security camera network. The cameras we have are fixed and left us with a few blind spots on the property. Sometimes, our other cameras capture movement that moves out of view and we can no longer see what is going on. We decided to go with this camera due to the wireless features that this camera has as well as SD card storage. Great purchase so far! Items seem to be of good quality. Pre-installation and setup: Per the instructions, I went ahead and charged the camera with the supplied USB C cable for 24 hours prior to installing. There is a silicone/rubber plug on the back of the camera that protects the ports from the weather. I just pulled it off and plugged in the charger. this is also where the power button is and where the micro SD card needs to be installed. Note: micro SD is not included with this camera. You must supply your own.
- I purchased the Adorcam camera specifically to mount it outside my back door where there is no power. This battery powered camera allows me to mount anywhere without being restricted to areas with access to electrical receptacles. Huge plus! I plan to buy two more of these cameras for the same reason and because of its performance.
After installing the camera, I was immediately impressed with the clarity of the images. The resolution is excellent; the sharp color images are like a HDTV.
